Pozza di Fassa - Buffaure
The Skitour Panorama links Pozza with Alba di Canazei, allowing skiers to reach the famous Dolomiti Superski resort. Recommended for experienced skiers because the best part of the skitour can be found at the end of the piste, you will arrive at Alba di Canazei after a 3 km-long black run through the woods.The Pozza-Buffaure gondola lift carries you up into a unique skiing area located in the centre of the Fassa Valley, with spectacular views of the Sella Group, Marmolada and the Vajolet Towers. Feel the thrill as you ski down one of the Fassa Valley's long pistes, boasting a 6 km length and a difference in altitude of 700 metres. The “Panoramica” piste begins at an altitude of 2,050 metres and descends to Pozza di Fassa through thick forests.
Vigo di Fassa - Carezza
The Ski Area Catinaccio can be reached from the village of Vigo di Fassa. A modern escalator transports you to the cable car departure point that will take you up to Ciampedie, where you will fall in love with its unforgettable views of the Dolomites in the Fassa Valley. Pistes to suit all tastes, from ski schools for children to the famous Alberto Tomba black run.
Another absolutely unmissable ski area is located in the Carezza Pass near Vigo di Fassa: with recently renovated slopes that are always in the sun and have perfect snow, the Carezza-Ski Ski Area is suitable for families. It is also home to more challenging pistes and snowpark facilities for those who love freestyle skiing. A ski field with 40 km of slopes with great snow and unrivalled views.
Val di Fassa - Sellaronda
The ski field known as Val di Fassa and Carezza includes different areas: Vigo-Carezza, Pozza-Buffaure, Campitello-Col Rodella, Canazei-Belvedere, Alba di Canazei-Ciampac and Passo Fedaia-Marmolada. These areas allow you to link up ski tours well-known by ski enthusiasts; the famous Sella Ronda, or Four Passes Route, is perhaps the best known. Skiing every day in a different area is the best way to enjoy breath-taking views and to get to know the Fassa Valley and Dolomites, World Heritage sites.
It is possible to ski in throughout Fassa Valley with a single ski pass, the Fassa-Carezza pass. However, we would like to remind you that you will need a Dolomiti Superski ski pass for the Sella Ronda, so that you can also ski freely in Moena on the Trevalli ski field and in Predazzo on the Latemar, as well as on many other neighbouring ski fields.
The Hotel Meida offers a ski pass service. You can order your ski pass in advance and pick it up at the hotel when you arrive without having to worry about long queues at the ski pass counter.
